How Did The Red River Resistance Affect Us?
The Red River Resistance affected us, the french, because the huge land called rupert's land, which was soon changed into the the North-West Territories,was going to the new nation of Canada so it benifeted us because it would mean more farming land and jobs.
Red River Resistance:
The 1869–70 uprising in the Red River Colony was shocked by the loss of Rupert's Land to the new nation of Canada. The colony had many metis occupied a corner of Rupert's Land and feared for their culture and land rights under Canadian control.
